Warren said in a opinion that voters had the right to elect people to federal office. Recent decisions by this conservative majority court as nullified that opinion. They say legislatures are the ones who should ultimately decide if there is any dispute. That they also have every right to gerrymander to keep their party in power and that mega donors like corporations have every right to donate as much as they want to candidates.
