Congressional Study: Murder Rate Plummets as Gun Ownership Soars

A Congressional Research Service (CRS) report shows that while gun ownership climbed from 192 million firearms in 1994 to 310 million firearms in 2009, crime fell—and fell sharply.

According to the report, the "firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide" rate was 6.6 per 100,000 Americans in 1993. Following the exponential growth in the number of guns, that rate fell to 3.6 per 100,000 in 2000.

This rate rose from 2004 to 2005 and got as high as 3.9 in 2006 and 2007, but it then resumed falling in 2008, the year the Supreme Court ruled in District of Columbia v. Heller that individual firearm possession is Constitutionally protected—particularly for self-defense. This figure fell to 3.2 per 100,000 by 2011.

In other words, as the number of firearms almost doubled over a nearly 20-year period, the "firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide" rate was more than halved.
Guns save lives and reduce crime. But the criminal syndicates in the leftwing plantation system want to disarm the common citizens so their leg breakers and shylocks wont get hurt so often.

lol, tough shit.

Harvard University......April 2013 in Journal of Law and Public Policy!!! Summary of paper states that >>>

Many people believe that owning guns only increases the amount of crime. However, a recent study published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy concluded that there is a negative correlation between gun ownership and violent crime in countries internationally. In other words, the more guns the less crime. The study showed that nations with strict gun control laws have substantially higher murder rates than those who do not. In fact, the 9 European nations with the lowest gun ownership rate have a combined murder rate that is three times that of the nine European nations with the highest gun ownership rate.

The libtard pretense that this is all for our own good is pretty much destroyed except for the usual idiots that still believe the Big Lie Media.

So the Dimbocrap fascists are just making a straight power play to get peoples guns by arresting them for bullshit charges, confiscating their guns, then only releasing the guns back to the owner if the owner can show receipts, pay a bunch of legal costs, etc.

They are going after veterans with PTSD saying they are mentally unstable with even the mildest cases, then taking their guns as well.

The fascists intend to take as many guns as they can so the public will be less able to resist their coming dictatorship.

But these days, the biggest casualty makers are IEDs and not so much rifles. And IEDs are easy to make, just dangerous.

The murder rate has plummeted because the crack wars of the 90s have ended
