Confidence in Elections Waning

Did you read that Democrats confidence has dropped from 90% to 69%? If this is Trump driven, then why the 21% drop from january to September? Are Democrats really Trump followers?

The drop in confidence has nothing to do with whether Trump lost or not. Independents and DXemocrats know that Trump lost fair and square. I suggest you read the article before you link to it.

"Looking to future elections, 51% of all Americans say it's at least somewhat likely that an election in the next few years will be overturned by elected officials because their party lost, while 49% say that is unlikely."

That is what Trump and Republicans are doing. They are trying to place partisans on local election boards. They are getting rid of Democrats and Republicans who refuse to cheat to help Republicans win. When Trump called Raffsenberger and told him that he needed to find 15,000 votes to hand him a win in Georgia, Raffsenberger refused. Trump and his supporters want people on the election boards that will throw out legal votes to help Trump and his supporters get elected.

Another person that believes in conspiracy theories, thanks for the laughs.

Back in January 59% of Americans had confidence in the elections that elections reflected the will of the people. Today 52% of Americans: don't have confidence that our elections reflect the will of the people. To me that is quite the swing.

Democrats and independents, though, are driving a drop in confidence that American elections reflect the will of the people. A narrow majority overall, 52%, now say they lack that confidence, up from 40% who felt that way in January. Among Democrats, confidence has dipped from 90% in January to 69% now, and among independents, it's fallen from 54% to 46% over that time, while Republican confidence has held about even and now stands at 24%.

My comment: The lack of confidence in the election process should concern us all as it seems our confidence in a 245 year old process is now not trusted by most Americans.

What can we do to stop this trend or is it too late?
The tRumplings have been beating that drum for a solid year and there are a certain amount of people.who will.belive anything if you repeat it often enough.

The modern political system around the world completely excludes the possibility of such a change of power in which the political elite and large owners could completely change, only the signs in the capitalist brothel will change
