Rightwinger, there are Progs who played Pied Piper to entice Blacks to Northern cities for employment aft WW 2. They ended up being screwed over when the world retooled and we sat on our azzes. Big time attitudes ensued. Yeah....Prog blue bloods. Early Prog politicians. Turned many areas form Repub or a Mixture to Democrat and now Prog. Statues are relative. The South has/had its ways. They consider their ancestors heroes for taking up arms against the United States, and they can't accept the fact that their ancestors got their asses kicked by a superior force with superior leadership.
