The pattern that I see over and over is condemnation of communism from righties, and support and defense of communism from lefties. Why don't we see lefties condemning communism? Even in this very thread, we will see lefties trying to protect communism with attempts to derail the thread instead of condemning communism. Why don't lefties condemn it?

Stalin killed all the communists so that he could implement state capitalism instead.
Was Stalin profit motived for himself, or did he work for the greater communal good?
There really is nothing remotely confusing about this.
If Stalin had been remotely a communist, then there would not be the wealthy, elite, oligarchs running Russia now.

Stalin was a communist who never impplermented or allowed any form of capitalist he killed opponents of communism.

Communism is where people collectively decide how to pool any excess resources they would like to invest in their mutually beneficial endeavors,

The only people who do not like that are those who are so greedy, selfish, and material, that they would prefer if people did not have the basics they need, so that profit could be made selling them what they should have already had.

Communism is not the will of the majority it is imposed on people and always has been. It is degined to be imposed on people by forcer which is why stalin was a communist by definition.

Communism is not about collective decision making throubhg democracy or any other means it is aboiut authoritarian imposition of tyranny by force.

A private company only wants profits, so will scrimp, lie, cheat, refuse, etc., while a government company does not care about profits, so will do exactly what you want.

I was raised with the motto of "the only god commie is a dead commie", Nothing has changed to make me change my mind. Everyone knows about the Soviets, Maoists and the various other communist experiments. The problem is you people trying to make the American left into communists. It makes you sound like you either know nothing about communism or nothing about the left or both.

I would bet you that the vast majority of immigrants who have escaped Communist countries and come to the US stay as far away from the Democratic Party as possible. A cursory glance at both party platforms is enough for any sensible person to realize which one leads towards more government control.
