Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Russia will not supply oil and petroleum products to countries that impose price restrictions on Russian oil.

This is reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak.

"If they impose price restrictions, then we simply will not supply them with oil and petroleum products for such companies or countries that will impose restrictions," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

He explained that Russia would not work on non-market conditions.

Earlier, White House press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre said that the US authorities consider the establishment of a maximum price for Russian oil to be the most effective way to reduce Russia's income from energy exports.(!)

It was also reported that the G7 countries will discuss on September 2 the initiative to limit prices for Russian oil.
