Protesters in Stoke-on-Trent were filmed and ‘taunted’ as they were hit with chicken on Saturday Vegan activists were pelted with KFC chicken legs as they staged a ‘friends not food’ demonstration outside a butchers last weekend. Stoke-on-Trent animal rights activists (STAR) say they were ‘taunted’ and filmed by people in a passing car when they protested outside Wayne Walker Quality Meats in Longport on Saturday. Bradley Shaw, 22, who was part of the demonstration, told Stoke-out-Trent Live staff at the butchers ‘gave us a bit of stick and told us to clear off’ when the group first arrived. The workers eventually relented and ‘had a civil conversation’ with protesters ‘when they realised we weren’t going to leave’ – but things became hostile when a car drove around a roundabout at the scene on Davenport Road.
Bradley said: ‘At one point a car went around the roundabout and we were hit by a chicken leg. There’s a KFC just up the road so I think they had seen us and gone there and decided to taunt us. ‘We could see their mates filming in the car and hear them shouting and laughing. They just think it’s a bit of fun to have a go at a vegan.’ The demonstration was held outside Wayne Walker Quality Meats in Longport Staff at the butchers told protesters to ‘clear off’ The activist has admitted he’s ‘used to getting ridiculed’ for his beliefs, naming veganism a ‘controversial’ topic. Despite the chicken leg incident, he said demonstrators had a ‘good response from the community overall’ and STAR are now planning future events. Police were called to the protest on Saturday, but the activists ‘were not doing anything illegal’.

He said: ‘Their biggest problem seemed to be that we sell meat at low prices but we don’t actually slaughter any animals. ‘Thankfully the protest didn’t put off any of our customers. In fact, it was more like free publicity.

How is being a vegan make one a Marxist?
Silly...cos it goes against the Trumpsters American way of life.

Ask Ozzy Osborne cos he once bit ones head off, to the tumultuous cheers and acclaim from his American live audience.
Actually he regretted doing it because he had to get stomach injections because they didn't know if the bat was contagious(rabies) or not.
Trumpsters way of life is arrogance and nationalism. Sieg Heil..If they are throwing KFC chicken at vegans then I think I'll go to the nearest one and protest meat consumption and pretend to be vegan...I wonder if I can get shipped taters and brown gravy with that?.
Actually, the Nazi regime were bigger animal activists than PETA.

Hitler was a vegetarian.

Proving once again that all socialists are pretty much the same.

I knew some workers who would feed KFC chicken to chickens and laugh like crazy watching them be cannibals.

I realize that Left wing academia made this political scale with the former USSR on the left and Nazi on the right, but my question to you is what is the scale measuring for those parameters? They never say, do they? They just preach it as a tautology and expect us not to question them.

And what is this "nationalism" nonsense about? Does this have something to do with your scale? If so, I recall Hitler wanted to conquer the entire world, did he not?

Did Hitler care more about his nation than Stalin? If so, how?

The political spectrum is from collectivist government on the left, to individualist government on the right. The ultimate form of leftism is a dictatorship. The ultimate form of right wing government is the ABSENCE of one. In other words anarchy. The Fabian Socialists have been working for decades trying to convince you that fascism and socialism are different. They don't care which form of them you vote for because they are ultimately all still socialist. And that is their goal.

They don't care which form of them you vote for because they are ultimately all still socialist. And that is their goal.
I happen to believe that anarchy is the fuel for a tyrannical dictatorship to fill the void and establish some sort of "order".

If you notice, the anarchists and Marxists run in the same packs.

No, a limited government should be on the far right of the spectrum in my opinion, similar to how the US started out but was subverted from long ago.

Now you have a supposed "right wing" in America that wants the monster sized government to stop interfering at home and a supposed "left wing" that wants them to stop interfering abroad.

Problem is, they are both daft if they think either one of their expectations will come to fruition. Once Frankenstein is created he pretty much goes where he wants, which is everywhere.

Try again.

Red is the international colour of socialism, I see the Republicans are proud to wrap themselves in the Red flag.

A Republic is still government, but it is limited. Thus it is much farther to the right than socialism. The scale is simple to follow, the more government power gets stripped away, the closer to the right side of the scale you get.

I see.

The way I look at it is, the morality of the people is what determines the need for government. As Ben Franklin aptly pointed out, the Constitution will survive so long as the morality of the people sustains it, and due to knowledge of human nature, that means the days for the Constitution being viable is limited, as society will subvert to corruption as all others have done before it.

Put another way, the ills of society are largely due to abusing our freedoms. So if man is unable to monitor his own moral behavior to maintain a civil society, the government will do it for them. In fact, if society had the moral compass of a jail cell then all that can be done is build a wall around them and hire a warden.

That is why those who favor a large centralized government to control everything is at war with the morality of the people. They instinctively know that if we start going around burning down things and shooting each other then the more an authoritarian dictatorship will be needed to maintain some sort of law and order.

Having said that, since the morality of the people will never be perfect, anarchy can never, and will never, work and can only lead to a Leftism

Luckily, the US was founded by a people who were desiring religious freedom and were accustomed to monitoring their own moral actions without government doing it for them. But as society becomes increasingly secular the only answer can be what we are seeing today with the Left.

Because they want to prevent me from eating meat. They can only do that by having government do that. Duh.
Dey have vways of taking your pork!
Earth to Oz!

Click those heels baby and come back to earth.

Care to answer my question?
I'm pig sick of answering this same question.

Briefly, - Collins/Oxford dictionaries define Nazi's as 'right wing' Nationalists.
Every country in the world accept this definition except 'right wing' yanks. Obviously you don't want to be associated with Nazi's so you make your own dumb ass scale.

It is simply 'right wing' Nationalism vs 'left wing' Internationalism.

Anarchy? you cant have a scale explaining world politics, because Anarchists don't have any politics. no government, no nation.

I'm not going to argue, read the dictionary's definition.

I don't give a fig what one particular dictionary defines fascism as. What matters is what they do. How were the fascists different from the communists? GO!

I can't breath!

But I can run around with my head cut off.
They actually more or less flop around instead of running around. Grandmother had a heavy metal lid, she put over them to hold them down after she chopped of the head, to avoid the spectacle. Later they were delicious.
Gosh Buttercup. You have never eaten chicken?
