Clinton: GOP has tried to keep jobless rate high | Political Headlines | Comcast

Former President Bill Clinton says Republicans have tried to keep the nation's unemployment rate high for political gain.

Campaigning in Ohio for President Barack Obama, Clinton says the GOP was "crushed" when the jobless rate fell to 7.8 percent last month. He says Republicans nearly managed to keep it above 8 percent "all the way to the election. But they failed."

Clinton didn't say specifically what he thought Republicans had done to try to keep unemployment above 8 percent.

The former president also criticized some Republicans who suggested the most recent unemployment figures were rigged. When the unemployment rate was higher, Clinton says Republicans considered it like "Scripture."

He spoke at a campaign appearance with rocker Bruce Springsteen.

Clinton the cigar man is an idiot, seems the dems are starting to sweat and worry ....

Yes. We know.

The teabagger GOP has been running this country into the ground as a means to an ends. They want the WH back.

Now just convince the Teabag voters.

Maybe they'll take out a full page ad and apologize for the inept rubes they sent to congress.

Republicans sure have not been doing much to grow jobs.

They just keep trying to repeal the ACA and blame the entire mess on Obama.
Amazing how one man can do so much in so little time... He must have near godlike powers!

RUSH:* Joe the Plumber.* Now, Joe the Plumber is an average citizen

If Obama and the rest of the Dems would not have been meeting behind closed doors while showing only contempt for anyone who dared disagree with them many things would have gotten done. The Obama administration might have turned into something that many more people would have been able to find some respect for. As of now Obama has a failed presidency and is considered by many to be the worst president in memory.

When Romney is elected, jobs are just going to freaking EXPLODE!

Just EXPLODE, I say!!

LOL

Did the republican hose pass one bill that would prohibit or increase the costs of offshoring jobs?

Do away with any tax breaks associated with mergers and aquisitions?

Here I thought that it's the Occupiers of Wall Street that have been running this country into the sewer.

It is sad when the workforce participation rate falls because of the damage Obama has done to America.

That would do more to create jobs than Obama's idea to raise taxes.
