With the abundance of 'maters we're having this year, and because of this thread, I just had to go in the kitchen and make a 'mater sammich.

tomato sandwiches are awesome banana sandwiches are good too.....even an onion sandwich goes down ok

When I could find a tomato that tasted like a tomato, it was just mayo, tomato and salt. I am continuing my quest to rediscover the taste of tomatoes. I planted three different varieties this year. Fingers are crossed.

Try growing your own fresh basil in the garden. Easy!
