Democracy always heads towards something worse; never towards freedom. Flanders

I love Egyptians for making Barack Taqiyya look like a fool. Mursi was elected as part of the Arab Spring democracy movement. After he was elected he turned around and set out to prove my opening quotation. Then the demonstrators against Mursi popped up and the Egyptian military booted his sorry ass out.

Suddenly, the Muslim Brotherhood want the original democracy returned:

The worst day of violence in more than a year has left Egypt more divided than ever in its modern history, and added to pressure on the military-led authorities to explain how they will restore democracy after the army toppled Mursi last week.

Mursi's Muslim Brotherhood rejected the proposed plan for constitutional changes and elections to be held in about six months, holding fast to its demand for the reinstatement of Egypt's first freely elected leader.

Barack Taqiyya & Company are twisting in the wind trying to find an acceptable substitute to explain what actually happened. Understandable because a military coup d'etat puts Barack Taqiyya up Shitze’s Creek in a leaky rowboat. Does he admit democracy in Egypt is a bloody failure of his making? Answer: Hell no.

Democracy is the road to socialism. Karl Marx

He will never admit democracy is a failure because Karl Marx won’t allow it —— never mind admitting it’s his fault in the entire Middle-East.

It gets better. He’d have to stop funding the Egyptian military in order to give the Muslim Brotherhood what they want. Should he do that will it be called democracy? More to the point, what will it be called after the losers in the last election replace Mursi? Only a pack of touchy-feely Democrat assholes can make stuff like this happen:

Finally, don’t misunderstand me. I’m as happy as a clam any time democracy fails anywhere; happier than two clams when Barack Taqiyya & Company cannot avoid the blame.

Do you think his using the Trayvon Martin trial as a flash point ( by depicting himself Trayvons "Father" ) while telling media not to report these black on white Mob violence events - will be used for diversionary tactic?

He needs a diversion right about now. He has Trayvon Martin story and a possible Hurricane headed to Fla and that is about all I can see. You're right. The story on Egypt was a massive blow. He's crumbling underneath the weight of it but desperate folks can do desperate things. I'm wondering what is his strategy for a diversion will be. Time will tell.

So much for thinking this was going to be a thread about clams.

I even brought wine. Oh well.

To Jeri: I believe that Barack Taqiyya intends to leak “safe” scandals for the next 3½ years. By safe, I mean scandals that cannot hurt Democrats who still have to get reelected. Safe scandals also give his media pals the cover they need to fill the airwaves with everything except destructive scandals that are tearing the country apart.

Incidentally, the media relies upon natural disasters, crimes committed anywhere in the world, sex scandals, and everything else to coverup for their messiah. Just look at the amount of coverage a plane crash in San Francisco is getting! I don’t know about anybody else, but I don’t give a rat’s ass about what caused it if it wasn’t Muslim terrorists.

I do find it interesting that the crash in San Fran. gets more coverage than the latest about TWA 800:

Add safe scandals to the rest of the media garbage and he will skate on cloud nine until he leaves office.

Egypt’s Coup Conundrum

Can democracy arrive on the back of tanks? Not bloody likely.

The American Spectator : Egypt's Coup Conundrum

1. It’s Barack Taqiyya’s conundrum.

2. How democracy arrives is unimportant. How it leaves is always the problem:

Democracy is like a streetcar. You ride it until you arrive at your destination and then you step off. Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan
