The question was raised and the American public wanted proof Obama was qualified to be President under the rules of the U.S. Constitution.
The Constitution is something the Democrats care nothing about. They're ridiculous response was to call people "birthers".
The government released a "birth certificate". It has Obama's name on it , so it's "Obama's birth certificate", most likely the government never said this would show proof of where he was born, as always, they let you assume.

My theory is....
Obama was in the Illinois Senate, it was time for him to advance.
Around this time , especially during his election against Alan Keyes, the Democrats decided Obama would be the perfect person to make "the first black President", but there was only one small problem, like the Harvard and media mentioned several times, Obama was "born in Kenya".
At this exact same time we suddenly see Arnold Schwarzenegger appear out of nowhere, saying he wants to be the Republican governor of California. Schwarzenegger was married to a Kennedy and always kept good relations with the left. Originally, the plan was to make Schwarzenegger governor of California then entice Republicans with the idea of running him for president, ...if they'll only agree to change that pesky Constitutional rule saying the person had to be born here, and inadvertently clearing the way for Obama.
Schwarzenegger ended up pissing off the left by trying to break up the union political monopoly that runs California, and, he failed to win admiration of the Republicans. After realizing what a long battle is was going to be to change the Constitution , the democrats just said "Screw it! We'll just make Obama President now" and just flat out deny everyone knew Obama wasn't born here. Tell everyone they were mistaken, and pretend it never happened.
The modern Socialist influenced Democrat party doesn't agree with that Constitutional rule anyway.

Circumstantial evidence is proof #1) The birth certificate released has a Connecticut Social Security number , which they describe as a "clerical error". The SS number is a joke reference to the fact Texas George W Bush was born in Connecticut.
Circumstantial evidence is proof #2) The birth certificate is signed by "U.K.L. Lee" (ukulele) (ha ha , funny)
Circumstantial evidence is proof #3) To make hypocrites of Republican voters, nearly every Republican presidential candidate since, has been born out of the country.
*) Mitt Romney . Romney's father was part of a scandal because the family denounced America and moved to Mexico, then got chased out. Romney's father was born in Mexico and wanted to run for President.
*) John McCain , born in Panama
*) Ted Cruz, born in Canada

People want to believe the government would never be involved in a scam like this. Your faith belongs to God, not politicians.
One researcher says the Obama birth certificate on the White House web site is in layers, and if you get the proper software, anyone can disassemble the layers to see the edit marks.
The fact is, the people who currently run our government don't care what the law says. They don't care about gun rights, immigration laws, or constitutional requirements for presidents.
Personally, I think there should be a REAL investigation and after it is shown Obama wasn't born here, they should annul everything he passed and just leave the historical Presidential list blank , like they did when Lance Armstrong was shown to be a cheater.
