Fiat to buy full control of Chrysler - Jan. 1, 2014

Didn't obama "save" the American auto industry?

U.S. automaker Chrysler will become fully owned by Italy's Fiat under terms of an agreement announced Wednesday that also involves the United Auto Workers union.

It's getting harder to buy American under obama. He's eliminating industries as fast as he can.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm................. Really? You mean Chrysler has stopped manufacturing in the US? And now you are telling us that you expect the government to tell companies who they can or can't sell stock to? Isn't that socialism?

There are many companies in the US that are partially or wholly owned by foriegn corperations. In fact, early on in the settling of the West, many of the biggest ranches were owned by English interests. So what we are seeing from you is just more nonsense, just simply state that President Obama can do no good in your book, and leave it at that.

Al Qaeda is Dead (Except they're running the Middle East) and Detroit is alive (except it's bankrupt and the auto industry is losing gigatons of money)

Remember Romney's "Lie of the Year"?

Hmmm?

Yes, he wants to globally control the world so he can sit on the throne at the top of it. That is where he sees himself in his narcissistic mind.

How many Republicans here tell their brokers to limit their investments to US only entities?
Hypocrites!

They are making Jeeps in China to sell in China, the same as Honds makes a lot of Hondas in the US to sell in the US. Frankie Boy yapping about a non-issue, excepting that Romney added that to his list of gaffes.

They COULD make Jeeps here and export them to China, just like we used to when we had a pro American country.

Nice..... we save the unions asses....bail them all out.... make it healthy again..... so they can sell.

we should have let it go tits up when it WAS tits up. .

And by the same logic, Toyota and Honda could make their autos in Japan, and sell them here. However, by economic logic, they make many of them here, just as by the same economic logic, Chrysler makes Jeeps in China.

You are saying the unionized employees made money from this transaction?

And now Chrysler will be an Italian company making cars in the US. The Big Three is now the Big Two.

So Romney wasn't lying

Well, since Ford assembles automobiles in Mexico, and sends a whole train load of them up past my house in the Santa Cruz River Valley in AZ every other night, I'm through with Ford, even if they did finally wise up and stop making Crown Vics with 1978 technology.

WAIT!!! I just remebered that I own Ford stock!

Keep them coming, amigos!!!!

When was the last time we had a pro-American country?
Outsourcing jobs began in the 1980s.In the 1980's, I was a buyer for a chain of youngmen's stores and watched "Made in America" apparel start being a fond memory. Now it's basically very, very hard to find any consumer goods made in America. Who started that trend in the first place?
This whole thing is certainly nothing new, unfortunately.

no, i am saying they were the ones along with the unions who were instrumental in bankrupting the company in the first place....and should not have been bailed out.
