The Tampa Bay Rays clinched their first playoff berth in franchise history. Several Christian groups are attributing the team's success to the fact that this year they changed their name from "Devil Rays" to simply "Rays."
When asked why they don't hold the same esteem for the Los Angeles Angels the team with the most wins this year- a spokesman for the Christian Coalition told reporters, "Well obviously, the devil lives in Los Angeles."
