Pornography in the Pew A Hidden Sin Part One

"According to a ChristiaNet survey, 50 percent of Christian men are addicted to pornography. And it’s not just a “guy-thing;” 20 percent of Christian women are addicted to pornography, and 60 percent of Christian women admitted to significantly struggling with lust.

And yes, pornography is in the pulpit, too. Christianity Today found that 37 percent of pastors admit that they struggle with Internet pornography, and 51 percent say it’s a source of temptation. And more than half the pastors surveyed (57 percent) said that addiction to pornography is the most sexually damaging issue in their church.

It breaks apart marriages – 56 percent of divorces involve one party having an obsessive interest in “pornographic websites,” according to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. And pornography breaks up churches."

Kind of makes sense. It's hard not to look when it's a click away and in such abundance. I honestly can't see how porn is making any money and staying in business. So much is available for free why would anyone pay for it. I got a bit off topic there at the end.

Presumedly, porn makes money by providing highly specialized 'niche' content. While we can find free content, finding content that appeals to whatever our things are takes effort, and some might prefer to skip the timesink by just paying for it.

Well that may be. Must be pretty hard core if your paying. Personally after about 15 minutes I'm done looking at the disgusting smut myself.

That's not good. But it's believable.

We need to fight it tooth and nails in our churches

Forbidden fruit often leads to temptation.
