The decisive advantage the USA enjoys is that we have by far the largest consumer market (29%) in the world.

The Chinese make things mostly for consumption in the US, so we have the advantage in being able to tariff the hell out of any imports and grow our own industries behind protective walls.

The Chicoms and Europukes have to beg us to let their products in or they go broke.

Our consumer market is larger than the EU and China COMBINED, dude.

We hold all the high cards in this game.
