Chauvin Plea Deal, question mark question mark

There was never any possibility that this country could ever be anything BUT completely fucked.

The media no longer reports the news. It creates outcome and once the media gets a hold of something, there is no outcome possible other than the one the media wants.

OK, let's dial down the temperatures for a second and ponder this: Would the country have been better served if the Minneapolis District Attorney offered a plea deal to Officer Derrick Chauvin rather than go through this circus of a trial? If so, what do you think the deal would have been?
No. Charges were righteous and just, being charges based on the facts. A plea deal would have rightly been seen as an attempt to sweep it under the rug to save the officer, now convicted and would have sparked more burning, rioting and destruction. It was only right, that this be carried out in the daylight.

Overcharged. Not premeditated murder.

Was anybody naive enough to think there would be no appeal filed? I would not count on a plea deal offer at the expense of burning cities. Chauvin may just have to go to jail and hope to win an appeal someday like other criminals occasionally do.

Have no idea what gave you that idea. Not much of a judge of people, are you?
