For 17 seconds, Phoenix, Arizona CBS News affiliate KPHO ran a lower third graphic that showed that Obama had won the Nov. 6 election over Gov. Mitt Romney with 99% of the precincts reporting. The lower third graphic appeared around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, during an episode of “The People’s Court.”

"This is not funny. This smacks of a FIX IS IN on the part of the mainstream media that Americans aren't to know about until the night of the election, but someone slipped and gave the game away. An investigation should be conducted and every avenue of detection should get under way immediately, not just for the sake of the candidates, but for the American people ASAP."

This could get embarassing and very, VERY sticky

CBS in Arizona on Friday displayed the results of the 2012 presidential election with Obama defeating Romney complete with the vote count. Hmmmmm....I wonder how they know that already

It is certainly enough to make one wonder.

Uh yeah!!! I mean that's enough to make someone go HMMMMMMM.

No, it isn't.

We covered this earlier today.

It was not CBS, it was a CBS affiliate, and they were testing their election coverage software and accidentally put it on the air.

Look at the totals. Only 83 percent of the electorate voted for Obama and Romney? That should be a big clue.

Occam's Razor. An army of closed-mouth operatives around the country have already rigged the election outcome, or someone at an Arizona TV station made a mistake.

Test election returns inadvertently aired - CBS 5 - KPHO

The following is a statement from KPHO CBS 5 General Manager Ed Munson.

"On Friday, Oct. 19, during a test of KPHO CBS 5's election returns software, we inadvertently aired a test graphic for about 15 seconds in an episode of Peoples Court. The mistake was caught quickly and taken off the screen. With the election about two weeks away, the TV station routinely tests its equipment to ensure our viewers have the very latest results on election night. We regret the error and apologize to any viewer who was confused by the mistake."

Which is essentially what I figured it probably was, but it is pretty embarassing for the network and opens the door to a lot of accusations.

And stop with the Occam's Razor crap please....I've seen Contact too.

Damn early voting! Accident or not why the percentages? Why not zeros?

CBS and it's affiliates have apologized more times than I can recall because of their penchant for reporting things that simply aren't true. This might be another thing that blows up in their face.

Does anyone still take CBS seriously?

There is already a thread on this. Why are some of you so incapable of using the search function before you start a thread?

Stop deflating their conspiracy with real and logical explanations.

What a bunch of cry baby bullshit. I hope Obama takes revenge on the tea party starting November 7th.
