Yeah - no kidding. This was a lesson learned by rational people (otherwise known as "conservatives") hundreds of years ago. You cannot placate evil. You cannot ingratiate yourself to evil. Bill Clinton did that and left us a nightmare to deal with in North Korea. Barack Obama likewise did it with Iran and will leave us with yet another nuclear nightmare to deal with in a decade or two.
