Capitol Rioters Have No 'Reasonable Claim' That Trump Authorized Jan 6 Attack: Prosecutors

I love it when people outside of the legal profession read a legal argument and fail to understand what it means. Like all those fools who claimed Durham accused the Clinton Campaign of spying on the Trump White House.

Just because the President didn't give the rioters a "legal authorization" to assault the Capitol, doesn't mean that the President didn't incite the rioters to storm the Capitol. These are two entirely different concepts. An "incitement to riot" isn't any sort of legal permission, which is what the Defendants are claiming.

They are saying they didn't believe what they were doing was against the law because the President told them to do it. The Department of Justice said that that Trump's words didn't constitute any sort of "legal authorization" which can be used as a defense to the crimes committed.
You couldn't understand a legal argument if your life depended on it wench
