The manager of Freestone Produce Inc. said an already strained supply chain is now being choked off by health orders requiring American truck drivers to be fully vaccinated and their non-inoculated Canadian counterparts to produce a negative PCR test and quarantine when they cross the border. Mandatory trucker vaccination leaves store shelves empty, pushing up prices
Talk about an own goal, Totally unnecessary suffering being imposed for no good reason.

Perhaps we should just stop shipping anything to Canaduh.

We have our own supply problems, and if they are going to do this to any efforts to ship any of our stuff to them, then perhaps we should simply not give them anything that we can use ourselves, in our own country.

Does Canaduh have anything that we need that we cannot produce ourselves? Surely they need us a lot more than we need them.

The food shortage is a shortage of the vaccinated.

You want to drive a truck?

Get vaccinated.

The truck convoy has apparently grown to 2000 trucks! It's a good time to start contemplating how the truckers will behave when they reach Ottawas.

I would suspect the police's best option will be to stop the trucks on the highway short of Ottawas and have them block one lane of traffic only. This will necessitate advance planning to choose an appropriate place. It may also require calling out the military with heavy weaponry that can stop trucks that attempt to run through the roadblocks. Arrests are surely going to take place. Martial law needed? Like father, like son. (Pierre on the FLQ crisis)

2000 trucks X 50' average =100,000 feet = nearly 20 miles of trucks stopped on the highway!

The only other option would be for Trudeau to capitulate.

In Canada I trust that the decision will be made based on the popularity of the mandates, as opposed to force being illegally applied by a minority supporting the Conservative party's political priorities.

An opportunity to discuss the possibilities?
