With manifest destiny, we were able to gain hold of Texas. We were able to spread democracy around the Indian savages. If we are to implement manifest destiny in the 21st century, we can take control of the Mexican drug cartel and we can make them more civilized. Then, we can take control of Russia and China and make them become more democratic nations. All hail James K Polk!
