German Carnival floats take aim at racism in wake of attack

The rise of alt-right parties and ideology has been on the rise, not just in the US, but around the world...the whole Brexit thing was in large part fueled by racism -- and perhaps the country most hypersensitive to the whole racism thing is Germany....but to many Neo-Nazis and white nationalists, when Germany was at its most racist was when Germany was at its greatest...so can racism make Germany great again??

"Biting commentary on racism in Germany featured prominently Monday among Carnival floats in western cities, hastily put together in the aftermath of a deadly far-right attack last week near Frankfurt. The floats for parades in Cologne, Duesseldorf, Mainz and elsewhere are notorious for their no-holds-barred satire, and also took aim at Brexit, the potential candidates to take over leadership of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party, and U.S. President Donald Trump. One even featured a clown-like figure labeled “Carnival-Virus” thumbing its nose at an evil looking “Corona-Virus” creature."

Apparently there was a recent right wing terrorist attack in Germany -- where a 43-year-old German man who advocated genocide -- gunned down nine people of foreign background in Frankfurt -- then he killed himself and his mother, because, why not - I am sure you all know about it because of the wall to wall media coverage here in the states.....

There has been a string of right wing Neo-Nazi attacks in Germany and they all seem to point the finger at the German white nationalist party, Alternative For Germany -- can this party make Germany great again like they claim?? Their leader is Bjoern Hoecke, a guy who thinks Germany honoring victims of the holocaust is a national shame and that Germany should be more positive about the Nazi part of their past....

And yes, he is a Trump supporter...what a surprise....what is it with Neo-Nazi white nationalists always singing the praises of Trump?? Don't they know he takes pictures with blacks and his daughter is kind of Jewish??

"Nazi" is a buzzword used to trigger ignorant, social justice warriors into a knee-jerk response. The fact is Germany proved they as a people when embracing their national heritage did great things. It was genius of Western European Americans to think up ways to stop Hitler's megalomania. And the fact is, it was pretty obvious the Axis could not withstand the Allies superior military. Instead of working out a deal, the Soros-types insisted destruction of certain, historic cities in Germany and Japan, much as the Taliban did to those giant Buddhas!

Now of course lesser ethnic groups are encourage to embrace their ethnic identity, have certain politicians, sections of towns and cities as their own, and once even a country as their own. Very hypocritical!

As far what Germany did to prison camp workers making German ammunition, uniforms, etc., as the war was obviously ending, that was not nice. But prison camps are always not nice.
