The debates have been going on time and time again on this message board about Ron Paul's electability and he is a nut job and coward on issues regarding foreign policy.

Well looking at it our troops support Ron Paul, he receives more donations from active military then Obama. More donations then all the other GOP candidates combined, so if Ron Paul is a coward for not sending our troops into dangerous parts of the world that are unconstitutional... what are you saying about our troops?

In 2008, he had the most support from active military in the primary season and now we see this again in gearing up for the 2012 election.

Paul is unelectable. Period. Why drag this out?

True.

I’ve not seen anyone accuse Paul of being a coward, perhaps you could cite the post(s).

Otherwise I consider Paul’s position on the foreign deployment of the military courageous and correct.

Whatever Ron Paul may be called, coward isn't one of them.

The man may possibly be one of the most seasoned politicians in the world.

Paul's opinion about illegal immigration seems irrational. He is against completing and maintaining the fence line but he seems willing to put the Military on the ground to enforce border security. I think Paul has Military intervention on the brain and let's face it, he ain't getting any younger.

If they donate in large numbers to Ron Paul, does that mean our military service people want the US to stop meddling in other countries affairs?

Paul basically said people without insurance should be allowed to die.

Nut job? Yes. Coward? No.

The military as a whole is non-partisan. Individual soldiers can support whomever they want, but you can't say "the troops support Ron Paul".

So you could basically make your statement about any single candidate. It's a silly premise.

If a majority of the military favorites one candidate over another, then the troops aren't really non-partisan.

He said business's should be able to have signs that say "no blacks allowed".....and he meant it.

He also said he would not have voted for the civil rights act....and he meant it.

Fuck Ron Paul. This is not 60 years ago, its 2011 and his outdated thinking is just fucking scary.

I am going to go with this...so the op is saying troops want to come home and wars are wrong. I am with this, but the right wing will have a fit over it. Do not do what the troops want!

I wonder if Ron Paul believes the military shouldn't have to accept blacks if they didn't want to do so.

As far as any fence...if they build a 10 ft fence, they will bring a 11ft ladder.

Did you know they found entire networks UNDER fences. railway systems. Think about that when you think a fence keeps them out. Its a fucking waste of time.

That is an interesting question since he only mentioned businesses as the ones who should be able to discriminate against entire races. That is a damn good question.

He would probably say yes, the government should be able to say no to blacks/asians/definitely gays/jews/etc etc about getting into the military since that is the way it was in the "good ol days". :eusa_shhh:
