California would ban boys and girls sections at big retailers under proposed law

My son's best friend in his elementary school years always brought his Barbie doll with him for sleepovers. Not a new, jazzy dressed one; she was definitely a well worn item, her hair a mess, all grimy like a Barbie 7 or 8 years old would be.

Not thst I think anyone my brothers or I befriended would have brought a Barbie to a sleepover, but my parents would not have allowed a second invitation to ever be issued.

Nah this is very common in houses with all boys

Momma wants a girl so she picks one and gives him a barbie

My middle brother got a barbie and ken doll once, he didn't really use them but he received them as a gift. She has only sons, everyone but her, including the recipient of the dolls knew something was off.

My aunt bought her middle son a big ass and very nice doll house, again she only has sons. He didn't have a barbie that I remember but had she felt she could push it that far i'm sure she would have.

Neither of them did that for every child, only one. And i've seen that pattern repeated in other families as well.

Only thing weird about this is she some how convinced him to carry around the barbie where normally they get thrown in a closet and forgotten.

I can't wait to have Leftists in Auschwitz style concentration camps. I volunteer to be the gasser.
You want to kill people that don’t agree with you politically?! You sound like a wonderful human

Nah, I want to kill people whom are committed to destroying this nation.
“Destroying” only in your warped little mind. Don’t you think that’s exactly the reasoning that the Nazis had when they had their disgraceful reign in Germany?

My mother lived in a house with three sons, my dad, and even the dog was male. She never tried to turn any of us into a girl.

She thought about, she probably didn't because your dad was an asshole

all women want a daughter, and to varying degrees try to turn one of their sons into one if they don't have a real one.

Just because your momma was too poor or uncreative to buy you a doll doesn't make it weird for other mothers to do it.

Women like to shop for little girls, shocker

That's how you get a barbie doll or doll house for a present

I’m sorry to hear that. So what would the rationale be for not allowing you to associate with boys who had dolls?

Potential for exposure to Liberal/Leftist and/or possibly homosexual ideologies or viewpoints from the child or their parents.
That interesting, so there was a fear of exposure. Do you feel the same way about that as your parents did?

I highly doubt my mother ever considered such a thing. Her father was a Lutheran minister for60+ years. She had three sisters. My father was the most decent and faithful. Man I’ve ever known.

I’m not saying there aren’t some deranged mothers out there who do such things; but thankfully my mother wasn’t one of them.

I have less than no interest in exposure to alternate viewpoints or opinionsto my own. I never have and never will.

it’s not fear as much as the ideological sureness that other viewpoints are wrong and that my time can be better spent on things other than listening to crap.

Haha, you don’t want exposure because you know they are wrong without even understanding their perspective?! Wow, the ignorance flows deep in that logic. Real deep

I don’t need exposure to know they’re Wrong. Right and Wrong were determined when humanity first existed. They are no different today..Therefore no discussion or debate is necessary.

To do so would likely lead to violence and possibly death for one or both debaters. That seems like an unnecessary waste.

Perceptions of what societies have thought was right and wrong has changed throughout history. It’s extremely short sighted and ignorant to think it’s all set in stone. Do you consider slavery righteous?

Just because some anthropologist or sociologist thinks something is wrong doesn’t make it wrong. That is adjudicated by a power far beyond our control and is not malleable.

I have no problem with slavery as a general rule.

What principles of right and wrong get you to the belief that slavery is ok?

“Survival of the Fittest” and “Might Makes Right”, just to mention two. “History is Written by the Victors” if you need a third.
So would murder and stealing also fall within your spectrum of righteousness? If not then why is it different?

I present to you case # 2,445,445,444.5 why the left is evil incarnate.

California’s large retailers would have to do away with boy and girl signage for toys and child care aisles, under a bill being considered by state lawmakers.

Assembly Bill 1084 would require retailers with 500 or more employees “to maintain undivided areas of its sales floor where the majority of those items being offered are displayed, regardless of whether an item has traditionally been marketed for either girls or for boys,” according to the Legislative Counsel’s digest of the bill.

The bill would also prohibit the use of signage to indicate whether a particular child care item or toy is for boys or girls. Online retailers with a physical presence in California would be required to label their toy and child care sections in a unisex or gender neutral way.
I expected nothing less from the People's Socialist Democratic Republic of Kalipornia... the Land of Fruits and Nuts...
