California Lifting Rona Restrictions Now That Joe’s Been Installed

Yes, Democrats have continued to use the ChiCom flu as a political weapon.

This completes the Trifecta of California, Illinois, and NY lifting restrictions immediately after Trump leaves office.

The stay at home orders are being lifted three fucking weeks after Christmas because the spike in cases caused by families getting together for Christmas is abating and the number of cases is coming down, people are getting better, and California has ICU bed available.

We're getting ready to lift stay at home orders in Canada too. Nothing to do with Joe Biden getting elected.

The cases started to rise in October by the end of October we were nearing record cases, after the election and only after the election, then governors put on restrictions. The numbers continued to climb into December and near the end of December the numbers started to lower. The numbers have been decreasing for more than three weeks and we will just wait for the next spike to occur.

Let's look at Canada during the same time frame. After the Canadian Thanksgiving, cases reached record levels and continued to rise throughout the fall. The provincial Premier started putting restrictions on the hardest hit areas of my province around the middle of November, right after the US election. The numbers continued to climb into December, and Justin Trudeau issued a national lockdown order starting December 24th, until January 31st.

The numbers spiked on January 3rd, and have been dropping steadily ever since. Our daily case numbers are less than half of our peak number of January 3, and our active cases have dropped by more than 20%. I'm hopeful we are able to start re-opening on January 31st, as intially promised, although elearning has been extended to February 15th.

Notice how our situation parallels California's. Our new cases peaked at 2,470 per day, in the spring. On January 3rd, we had over 11,300 new cases - nearly five times that many. Yesterday we had fewer than 5000 new cases, active cases have dropped more than 20% during the same time frame.

NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTION, THE INAUGURATION, TRUMP OR BIDEN. A VIRUS IS NOT POLITICAL.
Numbers are spiking right now, thousand times the number of active cases than when Democrats demanded to close the economy.
Hospitals are overwhelmed with patients.

Cases have dropped in California over the past three weeks, and there is now 23% availability of ICU beds.

That's how lockdowns are supposed to work. You lock down, your cases drop, the hospitals empty out, and then you lift lockdown, slowly.

The virus says...

Doh...10 PM curfew, boys, time to go to work, hurry up, let's go, it's 10 PM, get a move on...

Doh...New President, take off work, boys....

True. Also true is that hospitalizations are down. ICU admissions are down in the hardest hit cities. The reason is ambulance drivers are told to let the very sick die in the street.

Of course anyone with a family likely to sue will be transported to the hospital no matter how sick. This is the way to reduce the number of homeless

I predict that when we get good numbers on the number of excess deaths, that we will compare just fine to other first world nations with Universal Healthcare,

AND that the excess deaths will be far younger than expected, if the excess, if any, was from covid.

Your article is dated January 5th. Three weeks ago. We’ve just been posting about what has happened since January 5th.

This shit didn’t happen in countries with universal healthcare. Only in America.

Yes it did, it just doesn't fit your narrative so you ignore facts and go off opinion which is inaccurate.

Yes, Democrats have continued to use the ChiCom flu as a political weapon.

This completes the Trifecta of California, Illinois, and NY lifting restrictions immediately after Trump leaves office.

You have to be the dumbest poster on the board.

Fucking PROGS, unbelievable. The highest case count BY FAR was December 20th. Last I checked the PROG-assault on CHRISTMAS is December 25th. Quite sure the 25th is later than the 20th, it's that critical application thing PROGS have problems with.

U.S. cases came down since, now the count is rising again.

Face it PROG, your Demonicrats are just as they sound.

It's like clockwork. Many of us have been saying this is exactly what will happen. I'm happy knowing most of the damage by lockdowns was done to democrat families.

Clockwork??? You fools said that we wouldn’t hear another thing about Covid after November 3rd. Once the election was over with the media would stop talking about it.

Well the election has been over with for more than two months and no one has stopped talking about Covid. With the rate of infection spiking after Thanksgiving and getting even higher after Christmas, there would have been little else in the media well except for Trump’s attempts at insurrection.

With Trump gone the government is now laser focussed on getting relief to unemployed families help to small businesses and vaccines to the entire population.

There has been far more discussion of Covid since Biden was inaugurated than there ever was while Trump was in office. Simply having a president in office he doesn’t pretend the pandemic is happening has made a big difference.

You might be the most intellectually dishonest person here. More like programmed. Maybe you haven't had access the media since November, but the election wasn't settled until a few weeks ago. Your opinions are consistently antonyms.

No. We are still on lockdown.
Do try to keep up.

Liar. Cases are increasing in the State with the most cases.

Comparing day to day numbers is pointless since there is a weekly pattern where more cases are reported on a daily basis towards the middle and end of the week and the weekends tend to report lower numbers. When looking at a chart you'll notice a wavy pattern. Overall since Thanksgiving and Christmas the number of cases has gone down and as others have pointed out available ICU beds has increased thus warranting the end of the lock down.

Here is what the number of cases look like since February through yesterday in California (the national numbers tend to follow the same pattern). The number of daily cases has obviously decreased from their peak.

To borrow a popular phrase that Obama has used, don't bring a knife (your shitty logic) to a gun fight (facts).
1000% increase in the number of people running around with the ChiCom flu as when the shutdown started.

But now Joe StoleIt is in office!

That's completely made up. Plus the stay at home orders are based on ICU availability. California is split into 5 regions and when any of those regions ICU beds fall below 15% then they are on lockdown for 3 weeks. If after 3 weeks ICU beds are above 15% they reopen.

.

So, stop being a human toilet of lies.
