Liberal Socialists from all around the country converged onto the beach-front property of California.

They loaded the state with Mexicans until the point California is worth 55 electoral votes.

No one in Washington DC ever opposed the immigration, because the leaders of California and DC are bed buddies.

Because of this, the Democrats only need about 7 states to win a presidential election.

I currently live in Los Angeles, and I fully support the movement. Of course, if this were to happen I would be running across the "border" into America.

Full disclosure: We are well on our way to moving out anyway.

California would be absolutely no loss for this country. They claim they have the "6th largest economy in the world".... Truth is, companies are running from California taxes and regulations in droves. For every person that moves to CA, 3 are leaving. Why do you think they broke heavier for Hillary than Obama? It's because Independents and Republicans are getting the hell out!

Trust me, we need to "cut the fat" off of this country and let CA secede at their own will. I just hope they do it in enough time so that we can extend the wall northward along the US and California borders!

The US will lose about 15% of it's revenue each year. And CA won't be the only state to leave, all the wealthiest blue states with all the sucessful businesses and talent will also want to leave. Just as the red states take up a large amount of land but produce very little and are the welfare takers in the country, if the blue states left then what would be left would be equivalent to Mexico as far as economy and influence. But you'll have nascar and a wall. Sweet.

The State of Jefferson has been an idea that Northern Cali has been kicking around for 100 years. Not sure if it's relevant to the discussion, since it's always been about splitting off from Southern California. Of course, Jefferson wouldn't be a politically correct name today since he was an slave owner who smoked the evil tobacco.

California isn't Cal-exiting. People are just having a tantrum at the moment and lashing out. But if we actually left, we'd be fine. And we'd still dominate the world thru Google, Apple, Facebook, Netflix, Hollywood, music industry, agriculture, tourism, wine, cheese and weed.

California only has what it has because it is the ideal location for business in the United STATES, same with New York.

If they left, their huge businesses would not be leaving with them.

California and New York would just be 2 more poor "islands" in the Western Hemisphere.

More liberal rhetoric. Unlike so many liberals that are "experts" on California, I actually live in it.

Companies have been evacuating this state for years, and they will continue to do so an accelerated rate.

The only reason California is not bankrupt is the tech boom up north and Hollywood. Which, btw, they are now filming more movies in other states than ever before.

The other serious issue in California is the lack of assimilation by its immigrant population.
