C.E.RN. Proposes alternate cause for Global warming

CERN is arguably the most scientifically motivated group of people on the planet.

The UN is argualbly the most politicallly motivated group of of people on the planet.

The UN through its proxy puppet organization, the IPCC, has been for years trying to redistribute world wealth based on the assertion that CO2 causes global warming. Much evidence to the contrary is dismissed by those who support the IPCC.

Also the fact that the case is not proven is swept aside by the supporters.

CERN has put forth a different theory that explains almost all of the temperature change over the last century and does so without any reference to CO2.

Should we look to our scientists (CERN) for scientific theory or to our politicians (UN)?

politics certainly does play a part. the head of CERN came out weeks before the release of the contoversial paper and disavowed any climate change attributes. not mentioning Svendsmark was also a churlish thing to do.

So the blogs and the agenda driven Real Climate oppose the scientists from CERN.

The leading scientific research center on the planet vs. a blog. Hardly seems like a fair fight.

actually Old Rocks and RC bring up a very interesting point. science doesnt understand why there are as many clouds formed as there is. yet another area with incomplete understanding that is just plugged into climate models with no admission of the uncertainty

If you read what the scientists stated concerning CERN's researchs, they were glad to have the additional information. However, those claiming that the article stated that it was the answer to global warming are totally wrong, as the authors of the article have stated. Another point of data. One which may play a role, but not a major one.
