Who says building a border wall won't work? The Chinese built one over 2,000 years ago and they still don't have any Mexicans.

Trump has said his wall could cost up to $12 billion, but a Washington Post study estimated the wall would cost $25 billion. It will be made of precast concrete and reach up to 50 feet. He has said he will force Mexico to pay for the wall by blocking Mexicans who want to send money from the United States back home to Mexico from doing so if they don't show documentation proving their legal status. Mexico receives about $24 billion each year from people sending money from the United States.

There could be other consequences if the wall goes up. Trade between the U.S. and Mexico reached an estimated $583.6 billion in 2015, according to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. But that could plummet if a border wall turns away Mexican shoppers who buy food, clothing and other goods in U.S. border towns.

Comparing the Great Wall to a modern day wall between the US and Mexico is beyond ludicrous.

"The human cost of the construction is unknown, but it has been estimated by some authors that hundreds of thousands, if not up to a million, workers died building the Qin wall."

How many workers do you plan on dying during the building?

"The Great Wall of China was built over a period of about 17 centuries." How long do you think T-Rump will have to build it before he is voted out of office? He is likely to be a one term president.

How is he going to keep people from tunneling under it as people did with the Berlin Wall? How many people who tried to escape from East Germany were killed? Are you prepared for, maybe even hopeful for, people to die trying to cross over the wall or build a tunnel? There were138 deaths of people trying to go over or under the Berlin wall. I imagine you are very cool with people dying trying to go over or under Trump's wall.

The wall will cost, according to the International Business Times, 25 billion dollars. Mexico isn't going to pay for it. Are you?
