Last year, a governor that eradicate corruptions are jailed for saying that certain quranic verses can be used for lying. The context is we are full of corrupt officials. Money used to be gone. And this guy is cleaning this up. Other candidates, obviously cannot compete with his performance, uses religion to get elected.
