Brexit campaign wins: Britain votes to leave the European Union

Expect challenges, cries of "fraud" and then a 2 year process equally full of threats and opportunities. Britain would best off if Germany bails too - and I do not think that to be impossible.

  • Brexit: Britain Votes with Trump, against Hillary, Obama
    Breitbart ^ | 06/23/2016 | Joel Pollak
British voters chose to “leave” the European Union on Thursday, defying the polls — and President Barack Obama, who had urged Britain to “remain” in the EU. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had also urged Britain to stay in the EU. Only Donald Trump had backed the campaign to leave Republican strategists had panned Trump’s decision to travel to the UK in the midst of campaign turmoil, and in the wake of his blistering attack on Hillary Clinton earlier this week. Now, however, it looks like a risk that paid off handsomely, in the currency of foreign policy credibility....

  • This was the day the British people defied their jailers

Why did they do it? That, we’ll pick apart in the next few weeks. I think that Leave genuinely ran the better campaign, more hopeful and upbeat. Immigration mattered a great deal – although one YouGov poll ranked it third behind democracy and the economy. It’s possible that voters grasped the essential point about this referendum better than we the commentators did. It was a vote of confidence in Britain. Should we run our affairs or should we delegate it to foreign bureaucrats? When I was leaving my polling station, I said to a chap: “I found voting quite emotional.”...

I'm surprised it actually passed, I had lost all hope for the UK to regain its identity. They never really belonged with the rest of Europe. They were never in the Eurozone, Schengen, and even their EU trade status was special.

It gives me the hope, like the moment Saruman's orcs are defeated by the Ent army.

Didn't expect that.

Brexit campaign wins: Britain votes to leave the European Union

Britain has voted to leave the European Union, in a shock referendum result that defied late polls and is predicted to hurt the global economy.
"Brexit" was great brand and code for the people's desire to protect their borders from the hordes swarming in fromTurkey. It's catchy and probably a big part of the reason the LEAVE vote won. We need to come up with something similar for the Trump campaign: Something to do with protecting our borders.

It's good to see that there are at least some westerners in the world that still believe in their nations sovereignty and control of their own borders.

Everyone thought REMAIN was going to win, but the sense of wanting to protect their borders prevailed with our British cousins. This is going to be the reason Trump will win in November. People are silent about their support for Trump because the news media tells us we're racists for wanting to build a wall and limit immigration from the shitholes overseas. But when it's time for a vote, we're going to remember the Obama regime's lawlessness and Hillary's desire to bring in radical Muslims and vote against the criminal Hillary.

Have faith Trumpsters. We will prevail against the demon democrats and progressive republicans.

The European UnioConstitution is something like 30.000 words long. What a joke. Do you think a document establishing a country with 30,000 words has anything to do with freedom of the individual? Or is it a document establishing the powers given to the government?

How many words does The Gettysburg Address have?

Now that results are in, this opinion from last week seems more relevant by asking why Brexit is such a threat to the New World Order:

Why Brexit Is Such a Threat to the New World Order

"If you think that a referendum vote on June 23 by UK citizens on whether to withdraw from the European Union (called Brexit, short for British Exit), is simply a proxy on whether the UK should dislodge itself from the edicts of Brussels, think again. It’s morphed into a much broader debate on whether citizens worldwide should surrender their right to a participatory democracy in order to further the interests of multinational corporations, secret trade agreements packed with secret court tribunals, global banking hegemony and central banks attempting to keep all these balls in the air for their one percent overlords."
