The so-called "Palestinians" say they are an ancient people, however, it's impossible to locate any legitimate books of history on these alleged ancient Palestinian people written by reputable historians. Amazon.com has not one, while there are thousands of books on the history of the Jews and Christians and Israel dating back 4000 years.

If anyone can recommend history books [not political] on the so-called Palestinians, written by reputable historians [not just Arab writers like Edward Said] it would be much appreciated. Otherwise, it might call into question whether they really have any history which would be a shock.

Baruch Kimmerling (Hebrew: ברוך קימרלינג*, October 16, 1939 – May 20, 2007) was an Israeli scholar and professor of sociology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Upon his death in 2007, The Times described him as "the first academic to use scholarship to reexamine the founding tenets of Zionism and the Israeli State". Though a sociologist by training, Kimmerling was associated with the New Historians, a group of Israeli scholars who question the official narrative of Israel's creation.

Kimmerling was a sociologist, not an historian and the book, which I read, offers no history It is a political book.

I'm seeking books on the history of the so-called Palestinians written by professional, reputable historians.

You're not doing so well. Keep trying during the 18 hour siesta.

Why is it so difficult to find history books on these alleged ancient Palestinian people?

Not a book on the history of the so-called Palestinians. It is a political book about recent history, not ancient history, which I said is not acceptable.

Plus, Pappe is not considered a reliable figure.

Ilan Pappe...
I admit that my ideology influences my historical writings.

Indeed the struggle is about ideology, not about facts. Who knows what facts are? We try to convince as many people as we can that our interpretation of the facts is the correct one, and we do it because of ideological reasons, not because we are truthseekers.

No legitimate books of history on these so-called Palestinians written by reputable historians, after all? Hmmm, I'm beginning to wonder if they have any history, at all, before a few years ago.

How many history books of ancient AmerIndians of North America do we have?

None, right?

Guess that means that nobody lived in North American until the EUROS got here, too, right?

Seriously, nice try, but your supposition : that in order to have existed a people must have a written history; is an example of an false assumption leading to an equally false argument and conclusion.
