Body parts found in suitcase left on San Francisco sidewalk

Police answering a suspicious package call in San Francisco made a most unpleasant discovery when they opened a suitcase and found it contained human body parts.
The San Francisco medical examiner's office determined the parts were human remains and the body had been dismembered, Officer Grace Gatpandan said.
"We do have people of interest that homicide investigators are speaking to," she said. Detectives are also reviewing surveillance camera footage and officers are looking for a suspect. She declined to identify the suspect.
The suitcase was found Wednesday afternoon on 11th Street in the Mission District. Police closed four blocks while they investigated.

It has become very dangerous to live in America. There are so many crazy gunmen, murders and maniac here. I don't want to be found in a suitcases part by part... It is an awfull incident. I would prefer to stay home these days.

There are specific neighborhoods I am more careful in- 11th and Mission is on the edge of one of those neighborhoods, but those are a specific minority of neighborhoods.

Don't let isolated incidents like this scare you to stay indoors- this is an amazing country- enjoy it.

Sigh- look if you want to go around living your life in fear- I can't stop you.

We have gangs here, we have murders here- guess what? There have always been gangs and there have always been guns in America and ordinary citizens have usually done just fine.

San Francisco is not violence or crime free- but I am not afraid to be on the streets at night here- overall its a pretty safe city. There are 'bad' neighborhoods- where most of the violence does occur- I wish we could stop that violence- but I can avoid those neighborhoods and wander around enjoying life here.

I choose to live my life enjoying it- you get to choose how you want to live your life.
