Bobcat versus rattlesnake

It's also helpful that the bobcat is blissfully unaware of just how deadly the rattlesnake can be.
Doubt it. Their instincts know. Wildlife reality is in not knowing how or where the next meal comes from. Therefore either dying from venom or dying of starvation.

Their instincts are aware of danger, coupled with the warning loud rattle....which is designed as a warning to all threats that this is death here if you don't back off.

That assumption is just plain stupid as hell. How did you get so damned dumb? Have you ever set foot off the pavement?

Animals tend to be unaware of just how dangerous life can be. The bobcat knows the snake is dangerous but not that it is deadly. Animals just don't have the ability to reason this. Look at how sheep climb sheer cliffs.

Even humans would not understand a rattlesnake has a deadly bite if they had not learned about it. Did the bobcat go to school? LOL

Animals cannot contemplate death much like young children often can't fully understand it.

I believe in the animal kingdom (which includes us) nature gives out clear warnings. Now, is the bobcat AWARE in the same manner as humans? Most likely not, however their awareness also allows it to hunt them in the manner they do. Don't think bobcats are immune to its venom, however they all seem to hunt them similarly.

Examples of awareness in the animal kingdom. Watch this "mimic octopus." It makes itself look like a lion fish which predators stay away from. They also make themselves look like a venomous sea snake. That tells me that animals are instinctual about dangers or else that mimic octopus wouldn't have that built into it's defense.

The rattle and striping of the rattlesnake is sending out clear messages that all animals pick up on, or else the rattler wouldn't have evolved to have a loud menacing rattle.

Animals also LEARN, especially predators, and especially cats.
