I would say we have this November's and MAYBE one more election cycle.......before the unthinkable happens....and we become that 3rd world shit hole we've all known was coming. In ten to 20 years, very few Americans will be remaining who know the value of freedom and that "free stuff" is a fools gold.

I agree with you, and I agree with your timeline. I figure the country will split up within that 10--20 years: a break-up is certainly way overdue, historically. Usually (my extrapolation from history reading) when everybody can see a trend, it still takes 10 to 15 years for it to happen, because of friction and inertia. Like World War I. Or Soviet Russia in 1988. Everyone knew, everyone knew, years passed: then one weekend, BLAM!! Kablooie.

I'm not a Democrat. As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter if he wins. His primary job is change the tone and conversation of the party. That's why they changed the rules just for him. I don't know of any candidates that have "core beliefs". There's a lot of nonsense being spouted and it's not about "beliefs", it's about power.

Core beliefs are for the suckers that vote for them. That's how it's sold. It doesn't matter which party is yours to see that in action.
