You knew it was going to be next. Yup. BLM activist Shaun King wants all statues of Jesus to be torn down, because he believes they encourage white people to think they are better than those from other races. He's also calling for the removal of all stained glass windows and murals showing Jesus and Mary as white people.
“I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” he said on Twitter. “They are a form of white supremacy, always have been.”
The Black Lives Matter supporter also questioned the ethnicity of the biblical figure’s family members. doesn't seem to faze him that there are thousands of paintings of Jesus, done by artists during Jesus' lifetime, all showing him to be white, and with the same facial features.
King also said >>> “They are a gross form [of] white supremacy, created as tools of oppression [and] racist propaganda."
Vandals who might be thinking of attacking these and other statues and pictures, might be advised that President Trump has also had something to say about all this >> “Numerous people arrested in D.C. for the disgraceful vandalism, in Lafayette Park, of the magnificent statue of Andrew Jackson, in addition to the exterior defacing of St. John’s Church across the street,” Trump said on Twitter. “[The penalty is] 10 years in prison under the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act, beware.”
