Mob justice is incompatible with American justice. In our past we have had terrible examples of why we do not want anything resembling mob justice. Lynch mobs, vigilantes, various extremist groups are all different versions of 'the mob'. They want to impose their justice. The danger is if there is no push back, the mob doesn't stop.
