Balgo wasn't pardoned. His sentence was commuted and he is still a felon. Common sense will tell you that while rapists and violent felons only get 5-10 years Blago' sentence was excessive. The crazy left is letting drug dealers out of prison and now they want to give a 67 year old white guy 9 years for what amounts to a process crime. What's going on here?

The fact of the matter is US Senate Seats in Illinois have been up for sale by the corrupt Chicago Democratic Party political machine for decades. Madigan had wisely got his daughter Lisa elected Attorney General so who's going to investigate his crimes? Trump granted seven pardons and four commutations. All were for high profile people. Seems like there should be some average Joes pardoned too.
