Bernie Sanders is NOT a Democrat.
He is NOT a member of the Democratic Party.
Bernie Sanders is a professed member of the Socialist Party.
Since their is no official Socialist Party in the US he is USING the Democratic Party to run for President.

Yesterday the Socialist Party, represented by Bernie Sanders, ran against the Democratic Party Representative Hillary Clinton

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and the Socialist Party effectively tied establishment Democrat Hillary Clinton, scoring 695 delegates compared to Clinton’s 700.

Bernie and Hillary tied. Winner? Karl Marx!

Bernie Sanders almost won the Iowa Caucus (and might have if not for 6 straight coin flips to give Hillary districts/delegates) simply by preaching outright socialism.

---
The only reason that Hillary Clinton didn’t out and out lose is that Iowa skews older, and that she won six coin tosses. As Jessica Taylor wrote:The Vermont senator just couldn’t match the strength of the youth vote that Obama marshaled in 2008. Just 18 percent of the vote came from 17- to 29-year-olds — down from a 22 percent share eight years ago. Among those, Sanders dominated, winning 84 percent to Clinton’s 14 percent.
---
THAT means half the Democratic party's base in Iowa would prefer Sander's Socialist Agenda / Ideology / Vision to that of Barak Obama's and Hillary's ('3rd term Barak Obama').

"Bernie Sanders’s success is not going unnoticed by the younger generation of hipper, much more charismatic socialists like Van Jones. Jones has had to downplay his socialist background for years trying to play the establishment insider role but looking at the numbers that Bernie is racking up is probably going to make him think twice."

Obama and Hillary's vision for America is being beaten among their own ranks by a died-in-the-wool Karl Marx Socialist!

:lmao: True dat.

What party does Sanders Belong to again?
- SOCIALIST Party, not Democratic Party

How close was the Democratic Party's candidate to being beaten by the Socialist Party's candidate?
- 700 to 695 with 6 coin flips saving her ass.

I rest my case. Have a nice day.

Wait a second, bub. I haven't seen Karl Marx's birth certificate yet.

Good point, but the Socialist Party is NOT a 'real' party in the fact that there are only 2 'real' parties, MAJOR Parties, in the US. By running as a member of 'Socialist Party USA' Sanders would not be able to take advantage of all that the Democratic Party offers / benefits / perks - support, cash etc. Also, NO one would vote for Bernie Sanders, Socialist Party USA, but they are paying way more attention to Bernie Sanders of the Democratic party.

Were I Hillary I would be making this a HUGE issue:
- Bernie, if you ARE an avowed member of the Socialist Party, then why aren't you a member of the 'Socialist Party USA' instead of the Democratic party?'

Either Bernie is NOT a real Socialist, although he is preaching and running on 'Socialism', or he is using the DNC...and they are letting him. (They kind of have to as a safety net in case Hillary in indicted..)

I'm guessing that the OP doesn't understand the difference between communism and socialism.

Wrong. That is why I am saying 'Socialist'. The person you are confused with is Hillary. When asked during an interview to explain she was hard pressed to do so,

He isn't a member of the Socialist Party. He is an independent.

In this case, that's a euphemism for socialist.

There is no difference, communism is the evolution of socialism. Dumbass
The natural path of young delusional progressive bleeding hearts minds...

Socialism is the whore mother to most all dictators of history...

There is no such thing as an "social democracy" long term in history. They all get crushed under their own weight of their tax, spend and print policy's. Ultimately unbearable Oppression from their own government
Why is that?? You ask
Socialists don't understand reality, most of them are young. Therefore gullible ideological minds that have not matured...

...but they keep trying
