The living room is 35x25 so it'll work just fine.

Think the best thing I ever watched on by best big screen is the movie Interstellar. But I have a pretty good surround sound setup, too, so.
Big screen Sony has been very good to us.
If I watch something on Netflix, it's with my laptop.I have a smaller TV. It's much cheaper to simply sit closer to the TV.
Already have that option with my laptop.

Our living room is 13' x 27' and it is more than large enough. I wouldn't want any larger.
Having said that, I also have an HD projector with an 9 ft screen and surround sound. Freaking awesome to watch movies on.
So... in my opinion, I would go that route. You can get electric hideaway screens so it can be put anywhere.

I will say, with the expense of an HD projector bulb well into the $100s a piece - it is not meant for daily watching running hours on end.
It is meant for movies and sporting event with friends etc.
