Have you ever wondered about all the Big Pharma ads on TV that feature obscure medications? Are these mass media promotions really intended to influence such a tiny potential customer base? Or is there another explanation for the huge amounts of money that are paid for these ads?

It seems more plausible to me that these payments are intended to buy influence over the news programming on these stations. Critical investigations of new medications used to be the norm on these channels, but seem to have disappeared in recent years. Why else would Big Pharma be transferring this much money to TV networks?

They wouldn't spend the money on advertising if there was no profit in it.

So yes, the American people are buying and Capitalism works.

Right to the last straw, when the people rise up to end it.

Trump offers a new way.

Good point.

I’m presently cancer free. So no matter how much money they spend on advertising for new cancer meds, I’m not likely to be one of their customers.

When I do go to a doctor, I don’t recall ever asking for the doctor’s opinion about some new medicine. Instead, the doctor writes the Rx which I then get filled and start taking.

So, maybe the ads are directed at the prescribers? Assuming that doctors stay current in their fields, when they study the monthly medical journals, they are flooded with ads, also.

I don’t recall ever suffering from “restless leg syndrome.” But I used to see a shitload of ads for that medicine. 😂

There may have been dozens of afflicted people with that condition.

Working class Americans pay big for those ads. Our commie system in Canada doesn't allow it!

Trump won't dare to interfere when he brings in his new concept!

Capitalism was never intended to be cheap!

However, socialism as an alternative will grow hair on the palms of your hands!

Nice gibberish and all baseless.

Socialism is a retarded offshoot of the retarded concept of communism. Your belief in it is kind of like proof of that retardation.

pig pharma

"Big Pharma" was the enemy when Clinton was running and then it was the friend of the American people during the Biden regime. The truth is that big pharma is about making money by peddling products that might be harmful. Prescription drug ads are required to give the side effects and they range from minor discomfort to fatal events.

My favorite ad was for a schizophrenia medication.

Their slogan was "you aren't alone anymore".

LMAO. Aren't schizos the ones that are always hearing voices inside their heads? :lmao:
