I do not remember the details, but during the previous administration there was a plan that all future housing include accommodations for low-cost housing, too.

I live near West Hollywood, an upscale community. If I am not mistaken, some upscale apartment units now have a few low-cost units, too. There was a proposal to have a separate entrance for the low-cost units, but that idea was vetoed.

There are some people in this country who sincerely feel that the local, state, and federal governments should use their powers to make sure that all neighborhoods are ethnically integrated.
