- BULLSHIT. No one is buying 'It's Putin's Fault' anymore. Joe 'The Buck Stops Here' Biden promised to end fossil fuel use in the US once he became President. He has been working hard to keep that promise. While doing so he has declared we are going through an 'Amazing', 'Incredible' transition from fossil fuels to solar, wind, water and other energy sources THAT HAVE NOT BEEN INVENTED YET.
Now we have nothing sufficient to transition to and his failed policies have caused sky-rocketing gas & diesel prices. These have affected farming, food prices, and shortages. These have affected diesel truck shipping, shortages, and increased prices.
So what's a finger-pointing fuck up to do now? Joe is draining the emergency gas and diesel reserves, asking for and buying oil from our enemies (Russia - supporting Putin's war in Ukraine, Venezuela - now an official ally with Iran), and will soon be on his knees before the Saudis - who he called and vowed to make a 'pariah' after the horrific Kashoggi murder- to begbthem for more oil.
While Biden is doing all of this he has blamed Trump, Putin, Ukraine, Oil, Hoarders, Americans, Putin, price gaugers - now he is blaming Putin again while demonizing oil companies, who he vowed to destroy, and threatening to use
Emergency Powers against them if they don't bail his ass out right now, as shown below:
"But amid a war that has raised gasoline prices more than $1.70 per gallon, historically high refinery profit margins are worsening that pain."
'It's not MY fault', says Joe 'The Buck Stops Here' Biden.... 'It's Putin's fault our energy production was knee-capped, it's the war's fault, and it is YOUR fault, oil companies.'
Joe tells them they have the opportunity, though, to bail his ass out and help lessen the pain HIS failed policies have caused:
"Your companies and others have an opportunity to take immediate actions to increase the supply of gasoline, diesel and other refined product you are producing."
"My administration is prepared to use all reasonable and appropriate Federal Government tools and emergency authorities to increase refinery capacity and output in the near term, and to ensure that every region of this country is appropriately supplied."
If oil companies don't voluntarily step up to help ease the pain / disaster from his failed policies - despite the fact that Biden still intends to destroy them by eventually ending fossil fuel usage - he will use Emergency Powers to forcibly make it happen.
