Spikes will happen along with new strains and if Abbot want to open up Texas then so be it but let also understand that the County Judge can mandate mask usage if hospital rates rise above 15% and can force businesses to operate at 50% capacity, so many people will miss that part while discussing the Governor choice but one thing I will disagree with Abbot is if a County Judge must force mask mandate then they should be allow to enforce fines and jail time if someone break the mandate which Abbot opposes...

edit: Also businesses can mandate mask usage, so it is choice now...

No the Dems are the party of stupid. Governors, with brains that is, want to get their economies up and running. Keeping the State closed won't do that.

No one has dropped their guard. Most people wear masks and practice social distancing. That's what will protect the people. Not keeping their State closed.
