Biden Picks "Mr. Monsanto" Tom Vilsack the Head the USDA

Yay, poison plant burgers. Yum. Eat up Democrats, we are all in the same boat now...
We are slowly being herded into that. The supermarkets have more and more of this. At some point we won't have meat to purchase.
So?

So? I don't like poison on my food. You can eat up though...
You’re a fucking idiot who didn’t give a shit about Trump cutting meat and produce inspectors.

So go fuck yourself.

Go eat a dandelion...

Humans have consumed dandelions for thousands of years...

Humans have been cultivating and eating dandelions for thousands of years. Europeans brought dandelions to North America as a crop, not a weed. All parts of the plant can be consumed, provided you do not spray pesticides on the plant or have a pet that uses your yard as a toilet
.

I bought a couple of books on identifying edible plants that grow in the wild. The problem is that I don't trust myself to pick these plants. I'd probably be mistaking death caps, night shades and west indian lilac berry cobbler as good food. Lol.

So grab one out of your yard , chow down and tell me how much it tastes like prime rib...

Biden’s entire cabinet is comprised of warmongers and corporatists but D voters ignore this, in their glee dumb Don is done.

War Inc. is definitely back in business. There's no doubt about that, given Biden's recent appointments.

Liz Cheney and that bunch are foaming at the mouth as we speak.
Sadly the D Party has become the war party, just like the R Party.

Yet another example of how the two gangs are very much alike.

No, it's the "nobody gives a shit" alert. Biden is choosing competent people to fill his cabinet positions. Career public servants.

He has loaded his staff with corporate swamp creatures.. the type leftists claimed to oppose until a minute ago.

Goldman Sachs, Big Pharm, Big Banks, now Monsanto. All of the people who get massively rich off of the backs of politicians. It's largely what got Trump elected in the first place.. the crony-filled swamp in politics.

Biden has brought it back. We're going back to the sweetheart deals, the increase in lobbying and bribery, and the millionaire politicians who supposedly serve us. Not that it's not present without these moves, but it is an explosion of establishment, crony-filled corruption.

Where did the Occupy movement go? They're busy supporting Biden for the greater good LOL. Talk about lacking ideals.

Excellent point, and this is what amazes me. People who claim to be leftists or "liberals" don't seem to care one whit about supporting Wall Street, Big Pharma, crony corporate establishment insiders. And on top of that, they support warmongers and don't seem to care at all anymore about never-ending unjust wars.

I'm NOT a Trump supporter or even a registered Republican, but I have to say, I've lost all respect for leftists and "liberals" these days who seem to have no principles whatsoever. They've turned in to all the things they used to criticize in the past, now they are corporate / big money warmongering establishment cheerleaders, and it is truly disgusting.

I love Beyond Burgers!

I was wondering what was wrong with you. It all comes clear now. Lol.
I bet you’ve never tried one.

You're right. I never have. Are they good? I like mediterranean type food, nuts, vegetables, fruits, fish, olives.

Beyond Burgers are SO good! Seriously. And contrary to what some here seem to assume, they are non-GMO.

I will try them out. Thanks.

I was in shock the first time I ate one. Tastes just like a beef burger without the grease.

Exactly. It's just like a beef burger but without the grease and without the cruelty.

ETA: I should add, they are juicy though. So there's no need to miss cow burgers, for anyone who wants to move to a plantbased diet for either health or ethical reasons.

You have to be careful with veggie burgers. Especially the ones that are loaded with soy.

Best to go with the ones that are largely made from beans and grains like rice and quinoa.

If you're just trying to look like you're eating a regular burger without actually eating a regular burger for the sake of blending in with regular burger eaters, you're not doing yourself any favors with the heavily processed soy stuff. That stuff isn't any good for you either.

The legume ones are pretty healthy.

Beyond burgers are non-soy. Also no GMOS, and it looks like the ingredients are all natural. You can see the ingredients here: Our Ingredients - Beyond Meat - Go Beyond®

I mean yeah, it is processed, but it's better than what many people seem to assume. I don't know about the Impossible burger, I haven't had that one, but I'll stick with Beyond, and it's not something I have very often anyway.

Well eh scuuuuuse eh mwa.

Monsanto has a neat trick. They spray close to a neighbor's farm, and the mist wafts over to the neighbor's crops. Then they sue the neighbor for using Monsanto to engineer the plants on the farmer's property. Then they end up with the neighbor's farm. Welcome to socialism. You'll eat what they give us, if they give us...

How does spraying Roundup on a neighboring farm "engineer the plants"?

The OPI is correct in that this scumbag is on monsanto's payroll he has been for years but then again so are a lot of the people that Republicans have nominated for the position over the years.

This is why we need to end political nominations for viral positions and have an independent nonpartisan panel selecting nominees

Hell Republicans in general usually are on monsanto's payroll Fox news literally fired two lawyers for refusing to kill a story about monsanto's milk in the '90s causing cancer because monsanto's CEO at the time was friends with Rupert Murdoch
