Exactly. What repos don’t get is, evey reduction in federal taxes impacts every state which must compensate by raising local taxes. Anyone who serves in local and state gov knows that. Just because the Fed eliminates or reduces grants for roads, police and fire capital expenses, doesn’t mean the state can just eliminate and cut back the services.Mizzouri used to have the lowest rates but the majority Republican led government raised gas taxes along with license and tag fee increases..
