Joe Biden, making the world unsafe one day at a time.

The sanctions, targeting the Mammut Industrial Group (Mammut Industries) and its subsidiary Mammut Diesel, were originally imposed by the Trump administration in September 2020 as part of efforts to increase a maximum pressure campaign of sanctions on Tehran over its nuclear activity and actions in the region criticized as malign and destabilizing.

The delisting appears to be related to legal proceedings on behalf of the law firm Ferrari & Associates. "Happy for the delisting of our clients today, and proud of all our team who worked on this. Don't listen to the hype from any purported "experts." This is not a political action, its one that followed established legal processes and norms," tweeted Erich Ferrari, founder and principal attorney of Ferrari & Associates.

Ferrari did not immediately respond to a request for comment by The Hill.

Ferrari's bio on the firm's website lists Mammut Industrial Group and related parties as a client and that the firm has removed three of the five designees targeted under the Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.

The entities were identified as being “key producers and suppliers of military-grade, dual-use goods for Iran’s missile programs.”

They are part of an estimated 1,500 sanctions imposed by the Trump administration since 2018, when then-President Trump withdrew from the international nuclear accord with Iran, called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The entities had been designated in 2020 as benefiting and providing support for “Iran’s primary developer of liquid propelled missiles,” according to the original Treasury Department news release announcing the sanctions.

A Treasury Spokesperson responded to a request for comment by the Hill on Friday saying that the deletion of the two entities, Mammut Industrial Group and Mammut Diesel, from the sanctions list “do not reflect any change in U.S. government sanctions policy towards Iran. They have nothing to do with JCPOA negotiation efforts. The United States will continue to counter Iran’s destabilizing activities, including through implementation of our sanctions.”

The spokesperson did not address whether they had determined that the Mammut industries had stopped providing support for Iran’s missile industry.

White House Quietly Removes Sanctions On Iranian Missile Companies

Advocacy group calls on White House to explain why it lifted sanctions on two Iranian missile producers without explanation.

United Against Nuclear Iran is questioning why the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFA) suddenly announced it would be removing sanctions on Mammut Industrial Group and its subsidiary Mammut Diesel.
“The Biden Administration has thus far not been forthcoming on the reasons behind the lifting of these sanctions, and it has not confirmed that the delisted individuals and entities have verifiably ceased their sanctionable behavior," the advocacy group said. "At the same time, the administration denied that its actions are indicative of a broader shift in Iran sanctions policy or are in any way linked to inducements to bring Tehran back to stalled nuclear negotiations.”

They also urged the White House to “reaffirm its commitment to bringing all the pressure at its disposal to bear on disrupting Iran’s development of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles.”
“Rather than undoing sanctions, the Biden administration should prepare to wage a full-scale diplomatic offensive in favor of extending the Iranian ballistic missile development restrictions
They also urged the White House to “reaffirm its commitment to bringing all the pressure at its disposal to bear on disrupting Iran’s development of nuclear-capable ballistic missiles.”

Comment:
Obviously the companies Mammut Industrial Group and Mammut Diesel will be kicking back Joey Xi's 10% to Hunter that manages Joey's finances.
If an Iranian agent was setting U.S. foreign policy what would he do differently?

President Potatohead will sell out his country to his Chicom buddies and to Obama's Muslim buddies in a heart beat.

Anybody that voted for Potatohead and then ignored the fact the election was stolen is a fucking moron.

Gee, this is rich!
The facts on Biden's handling of the Iran nuclear situation that demonstrates that there's not going to be a better agreement than what existed with the "5+1".

Good reason to hate the fkr if you're an American.
Not so great a reason to hate him for the rest of humanity!

The supposed Iran threat is off the map for the US now. China has just demonstrated missile capability that the US can't ignore. And of course the US foreign policy had already pivoted to Asia long before this news become an attempt at a Trump talking point.

The Zionist regime is going to have to handle it's problem of it's own making by itself.

And that will be hard for them to do now that the US prohibits the Zionist regime from starting a war that would endanger the entire world.
