Biden can't even unify his own party, Democrats admit they don't have the votes to pass their agenda in the Senate, no Green New Deal, no DC statehood

The nation wins when complete gridlock occurs.

If the U.S. was still just an agrarian/pioneering/sea faring back water, I'd agree with you.

But we're an extremely complex modern post-industrial society, and we need a government that will legislate in accordance with the needs of the American people - not just in the interests of the wealthy.

Every piece of legislation increases our national debt, allows more govt agencies to spy on the populace, or enables some military adventure in the world. No thanks.

If we'd increase taxes on the wealthy legislation wouldn't increase the national debt.

So you agree with entitlements as long as they're paid for with taxes?

What do you have against being spied on? The government can spy on me all they want...you'd just have some incredibly bored government agents.

I agree that we spend WAY too much on the military...and get way too involved in other countries.

Let these countries elites deal with their problems themselves....maybe they'd have to serve their own people. But you'd have to live in a world full of communist & socialist countries.

I don't agree with entitlements. I don't trust the govt to make sound decisions with my money and they have a proven track record of making bad decisions. That same argument about spying was made when the Rs were pushing the patriot act back in 2001..........."if you're not sending any bad emails then you shouldn't worry about the govt looking through your stuff:..............wrong then and wrong now. Finally, we waste trillions on social programs and military adventures around the world. Stop the endless wars and cut 50 percent of govt.

Who do you want to make decisions? Consider third world countries and the poverty of their populations and the instability under authoritarian leadership.

Democracy in America has some problems, but it works most of the time, and when it doesn't, it corrects itself by the voters.

Explain entitlements, and explain if you got your way and cut 50% of government.

Why shouldn't I make decisions for my family and myself over a govt that blows out the treasury. I'm accountable. The federal govt isn't. All social programs including SS, cut it 50 percent and cut military spending 50 percent. You should know that never ending wars has landed every county in history on the ash heap.

That's weird. I pay taxes, yet I also make decisions for myself and my family. If you do not like paying taxes, then do not accept or offer U.S. Federal currency. If you do not want to contribute to the society that you live in - and which you enjoy many benefits - then go live as a recluse in the woods. There's still plenty of space in the Amazon or northern Alaska.

But if you want to continue using U.S. currency and living in the U.S., then you're gonna have to contribute some of that U.S. Currency back to the government. You'll also have to live with the fact that the U.S. government exists for the benefit of all Americans, not just yourself.

A very large part of Federal expenditures are on things that people have worked for and are actually ENTITLED TO. Like Social Security, unemployment insurance, and Government pensions. Less than half of expenditures are for government 'hand-outs'.

Keep in mind that if we cut the military budget in half, we'll have tens of millions of new welfare recipients - unless you're willing to employ everyone that works in the military industrial complex.

What you wish for is NOT very well thought out - your solutions are childish!
The question is not about taxes. Its about how much and how much is of corruption in all people in all ways. And it is a lot. Its not cut and dried and simple as you put it.

If you know of any illegal activity by anyone in Washington, then report it to the FBI.

If by corruption, you mean Politicians funneling money back to their supporters and to their constituents, then yes, there's corruption.

But if you research the ratio of money sent to Washington in taxes vs. the money received from Washington, the Red states are far worse than the blue states.

Thank goodness. This will mean so much less to undo when the next President takes office.

Explain why you oppose Statehood for DC and The Green New Deal. If you can.

IMO the residents who reside in The District are paying income taxes but are not represented by two Senators. Wyoming has a population of 579,000 and The District has a greater population of 692,683.

Green and renewable sources of energy are the future, and the future is now.

1. D,C, Statehood is un-Constitutional.

"[The Congress shall have Power] To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States. "

2. The "Green New Deal" is government pork on a scale previously unimagined by anyone with the possible exception of Boss Tweed. If, as you say, "Green and renewable sources of energy are the future, and the future is now.", then it can bloody well pay for itself.

Good news for once regarding the Biden regime.

Why should the DNC want to go along with any of Joe's crackpot ideas now when they were 100% opposed to all of them as crazy just last year?

LOL, had this been your response in a freshman blue book exam, you would be lucky to get a D minus.

it's over! it's fucking over!

Biden's already got members of his own party introducing bills to try to stop the humanitarian disaster he's created at the border. This is what happens when the radicals install a puppet who's just a communist Chinese asset.

The full context of Art I, Sec 8, clause 17, to wit:

[The Congress shall have Power . . . ] To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;–And . . .

Consider both the 23 Amendment to COTUS and the 9th and 10th Articles in the Bill of Rights.

It is unfortunate that the residents of the District of Columbia are not represented by a vote of members of the H. of Rep. or the Senate; it is worth noting that the claim that such American Citizens cannot be represented by two Senators and as many members of the H. of Rep. as the people in Wyoming in COTUS,is not true.

Do you believe anyone other than biddable fools believe anything you post? This post of yours is beyond belief.

LOL...the famous saying is that "I belong to no organized political party...I am a democrat" rings true. The GOP was really unified....right? LOL...They either believed Mexico would fund the wall or decided their GOP president was a moron. The latter was true.

Pence and the blob were on the same page...clearly.

With his strong public approval, the President should become more ambitious.
We’re fast approaching President Biden’s 100th day in office and already Congress has passed a massive $1.9 trillion coronavirus aid package; helped usher in Biden’s history-making Cabinet picks; and approved a measure in the House that would give undocumented immigrants, including those currently with temporary protections under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, a pathway to citizenship.

Maybe the popularly-elected President should next vow to build a "big, beautiful wall!" and make "Mexico!" pay for it, or to repeal 'ObamaCare' and replace it "immediately!" with "something terrific!" that "covers everybody!" at "less cost!"
all obiden has promised is a massive debt and colossal failure at the border

trump may be a moron but what does that make Hillary whom trump outsmarted at every turn

Now lets hope he doesn't issue EO's after EO's
He is already at around 65 EOs so i wouldnt put much hope in that...

Since his initial EO's many of which overturned Trump's EO's I dont recall him issuing very many.
Less than half are reversals. His EO rate is unprecedented.
Biden's executive orders: View the list (cnn.com)

Biden isn’t going to let the Republicans screw him over the way they did Obama. This is the problem with the obstructionist Republicans. They will screw over the country and do real damage just for political reasons.

I also recall you cheering Trump’s EO. Yesterday Biden said that the Republicans can’t just say “no”. They have to come back with their own program. Biden is not putting up with any McDonald’s bullshit any longer.

Neither are the American people. Either McConnell gets off his ass and starts working for the country or they’re going to get voted out at midterms.

You’ve confused what Donald Trump delivered and what Joe Biden is promising. Donald Trump delivered massive debt and a colossal failure at the border. Biden is cleaning it up.

You have never seen me "cheering" for an EO.
Shut your foreign bullshit up

The Trump cult will whine excuses aplenty (and the Cry Baby Loser meets data he does not like with his hysterical tantrums, of course) but the failed casino operator and faded reality-tv performer grew the unemployment from 4.7% (January, 2017) to 6.7% (Dec. 2020)

During President Obama’s eight years in office, the unemployment rate had steadily decreased, the budget deficit got smaller. and consumer confidence grew.

The federal budget deficit is more than five times higher than what it was when Trump first took office, while the public debt has grown by nearly $8 trillion.

Them's the facts.

Aww look, a federal supremacist whining about the govt giving money away.
How
Fucking
Convenient

Trump failed to consider ladders when he envisioned his "big, beautiful wall!" that he made Mexico pay for.

Trump's $15 billion border wall is being easily defeated by $5 ladders
