Biden can't even unify his own party, Democrats admit they don't have the votes to pass their agenda in the Senate, no Green New Deal, no DC statehood

The Covid-19 relief and infrastructure bills are plenty for the first 2 years. The American people will know which party cares about their welfare.

The public is very aware of voter repression by the Repugs, and of the way the filibuster is used to make sure that no legislation get done.

Expect the Dems to increase their Senate majority significantly in 2022. Then Manchin won't be able to save the filibuster.

Once the filibuster is gone, the Dems agenda will be back on track.
You federal supremacists make me sick to my stomach.

Thanks! You just made my day!!!! :p
Yeah, you regressive illiberals get your rocks off by making other people miserable. So this isnt surprising.

Exactly what part of the liberal agenda is affecting you personally?

Is it just that you may have to pay more taxes or are you just looking for an excuse to be miserable?

The nation wins when complete gridlock occurs.

If the U.S. was still just an agrarian/pioneering/sea faring back water, I'd agree with you.

But we're an extremely complex modern post-industrial society, and we need a government that will legislate in accordance with the needs of the American people - not just in the interests of the wealthy.

The liberal agenda is the best ideology on the planet.
You are referring to regressive illiberalism. YUGE difference.

Every piece of legislation increases our national debt, allows more govt agencies to spy on the populace, or enables some military adventure in the world. No thanks.

If we'd increase taxes on the wealthy legislation wouldn't increase the national debt.

So you agree with entitlements as long as they're paid for with taxes?

What do you have against being spied on? The government can spy on me all they want...you'd just have some incredibly bored government agents.

I agree that we spend WAY too much on the military...and get way too involved in other countries.

Let these countries elites deal with their problems themselves....maybe they'd have to serve their own people. But you'd have to live in a world full of communist & socialist countries.

I don't agree with entitlements. I don't trust the govt to make sound decisions with my money and they have a proven track record of making bad decisions. That same argument about spying was made when the Rs were pushing the patriot act back in 2001..........."if you're not sending any bad emails then you shouldn't worry about the govt looking through your stuff:..............wrong then and wrong now. Finally, we waste trillions on social programs and military adventures around the world. Stop the endless wars and cut 50 percent of govt.

Thank goodness. This will mean so much less to undo when the next President takes office.

Explain why you oppose Statehood for DC and The Green New Deal. If you can.

IMO the residents who reside in The District are paying income taxes but are not represented by two Senators. Wyoming has a population of 579,000 and The District has a greater population of 692,683.

Green and renewable sources of energy are the future, and the future is now.

Who do you want to make decisions? Consider third world countries and the poverty of their populations and the instability under authoritarian leadership.

Democracy in America has some problems, but it works most of the time, and when it doesn't, it corrects itself by the voters.

Explain entitlements, and explain if you got your way and cut 50% of government.

Why shouldn't I make decisions for my family and myself over a govt that blows out the treasury. I'm accountable. The federal govt isn't. All social programs including SS, cut it 50 percent and cut military spending 50 percent. You should know that never ending wars has landed every county in history on the ash heap.

Now lets hope he doesn't issue EO's after EO's
He is already at around 65 EOs so i wouldnt put much hope in that...

I hope the readers don't take 65 EO's and compare them with those promulgated by Trump. Read the link above and see the contrast. Biden overruled many of Trump's EO's which circumvent the Constitution; President Biden seeks to work with The Congress to pass legislation.

Sure, you have that right to express you opinion, one which I believe is also thoughtless:
  • Cutting Social Security will place a great burden on local governments
  • Cutting Medicare, Medicaid and the ACA will put a great burden on state and local gov'ts
  • Cutting 50 % of the Military is absurd
  • Cutting taxes (for Federal & Corporate income as well as Payroll Taxes) is fiscal conservatism, which is not fiscally responsible.

That's weird. I pay taxes, yet I also make decisions for myself and my family. If you do not like paying taxes, then do not accept or offer U.S. Federal currency. If you do not want to contribute to the society that you live in - and which you enjoy many benefits - then go live as a recluse in the woods. There's still plenty of space in the Amazon or northern Alaska.

But if you want to continue using U.S. currency and living in the U.S., then you're gonna have to contribute some of that U.S. Currency back to the government. You'll also have to live with the fact that the U.S. government exists for the benefit of all Americans, not just yourself.

A very large part of Federal expenditures are on things that people have worked for and are actually ENTITLED TO. Like Social Security, unemployment insurance, and Government pensions. Less than half of expenditures are for government 'hand-outs'.

Keep in mind that if we cut the military budget in half, we'll have tens of millions of new welfare recipients - unless you're willing to employ everyone that works in the military industrial complex.

What you wish for is NOT very well thought out - your solutions are childish!

LOL Guess you forgot there is very little Covid relief in that bill. You also seem to have forgotten that we tax payers are paying to bail out Union pensions. Something our tax dollars should never be used for. Your boy added 1.9 trillion the debt. His infrastructure bill has 5% of it for infrastructure. The rest is pure pork.

I expect the Dems to lose both the house and the Senate in 2022. They are making a mess of the country right now and don't think voters aren't watching.

Hope the Dem agenda is never on track.

Pork is good for the economy.

Don't count on the Repugs taking back either house. After Jan. 6 the American people are sick & tired of their BS. Enough is enough.

All these attempts at voter suppression show just how desperate the Repugs are.
