WHEN did France EVER help us? WE saved THEIR asses from a Nazi takeover.
We LENT them millions upon millions of dollars to rebuild after the war, which they have yet to pay back.
All we got was an ugly statue.

I read American history as a middle schooler overseas and I know for a fact that France helped the US in their fight against the Brits to gain independence. You are embarrassing yourself again. I won't go over the topic of Why the US needed to sign a treaty with Morocco and why American ships were down in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. You have to hit the library or go overseas to any school, cause apparently they don't teach you crap in here.
