Texas refiners have been using heavy sour crude since we were friends with Venezuela. They switch over to the Canadian slurry, and now all that new sweet WTI is being shipped out of state for refining!

There is crude of all thicknesses and grades... the best places for valued crude to refine has been placed off limits for drilling... also we are using more oil than we did just a few years ago when we were able to frack for natural gas....
